LocalGapReport

By Lehrer Group LLC, Spring, TX

What this is

We look at a local business's public Google reviews and public website, then send the owner one short email with what we found and a link to a private page showing the evidence.

We never post, reply, or change anything on your behalf. Nothing is submitted to Google. Everything we deliver is a paste-ready draft that you review and use if you want to.

Three sample replies

Three replies we wrote by hand, with the business name, phone number and staff names taken out. The reviews they answer are paraphrased, not quoted.

Auto repair shop, Kansas City

The review: a one-star from a customer who had told the shop which parts she had already replaced and was quoted for a new starter an hour later. No owner reply for three months.

Thank you for laying out the sequence. Hearing that the diagnosis came back as a starter an hour after you had already told us which parts were new is the part we want to look at, along with how the estimate was explained to you on that call. The write-up and the technician notes are still on file, and we would rather go through them with you than leave this sitting here. Please call the shop and ask for the owner. [Business name]

Thai restaurant, Wichita

The review: a one-star warning other customers that a to-go order took close to an hour. No owner reply for two months.

Thank you for the review. An hour for a to-go order is far longer than any ticket time we run to, and we want to see what the kitchen was carrying that afternoon. If you tell us the day and roughly the time you ordered we can trace the ticket. Please call and ask for the manager. [Business name]

Veterinary clinic, Tulsa

The review: a one-star from an owner whose senior dog had a full blood panel and urine test that produced no answer, until a second veterinarian read the same results differently. No owner reply in two years.

Thank you for the review. A full blood panel and a urine sample that still left you without an answer, when another veterinarian read the same results differently, is exactly the kind of case we would want to look at again. We would like to pull your dog's file and go over what those results showed and what was missed. Please call the clinic and ask for the practice manager. [Business name]

Who writes these

Ian Lehrer, Lehrer Group LLC, Spring, Texas. Every reply is written and reviewed by a person for that one specific review; we use drafting tools, but nothing goes out unread. A reply is not really aimed at the reviewer, who has usually moved on. It is read by the next customer scrolling your listing and deciding whether to call you, which is why it is worth writing carefully. We never post anything to Google or anywhere else, so you paste it or you do not, and if the pack is not worth what you paid there is a 14-day refund with no explanation needed.

How we got your information

Two public sources only: your public Google Maps listing and your public website. We do not buy lists and we do not use private data.

We email each business once. Every email has an opt-out link, and we honor it immediately — no reply or reason needed.
